Local Board Greenways Plans

2016 – 2020 Auckland Council

Assisted Auckland Council Local Boards with reviewing, refreshing and planning their Greenways and Local Path Networks plans. Four new Local Board Greenways Plans were drafted and four plans were reviewed.

Climate Change Catalyst

Auckland Council – April 2022 to December 2022

The initiative aimed to foster a low carbon lifestyle movement in Auckland, empowering residents to reduce their carbon footprint. The Catalyst achieved this by enhancing community-led climate action through various means, including providing train-the-trainer sessions, facilitating knowledge-sharing forums and regional events, offering learning opportunities, amplifying low carbon activities, leveraging social media to share stories, developing carbon reduction tools, assisting in local project delivery, and promoting engagement with Auckland Council's sustainability grants.

TEAR Fund New Zealand

August 1995 to August 2014

As Programmes Manager responsibilities included identifying and engaging the local public and private sectors, including the church, by adding value to existing and future TEAR Fund international and local projects/programmes, and encouraging and influencing (using best practice Christian holistic development) any strategic projects/programmes these sectors or partners may have been involved with. The position strengthened partnerships and co-operation between local partners, donors and TEAR Fund. Programmes managed included Rainwater Harvesting in Rajasthan, Water Filtering Indonesia, Disaster Management (Earthquake Nepal, Bali Bombing, Mt Pinatubo eruption Philippines) Woman’s Microenterprise (Indonesia, Philippines, Columbia, Ghana), Slum Health programme Peshawa Pakistan, Delhi India).
